I pride myself on producing high quality digital images that are supplied to you via digital download. You may use these images at your leisure for printing, framing or for sharing with friends on Facebook.
One misconception with full resolution professional images is that any print lab can reproduce them. Unfortunately that isn’t the case. Photobaby images are colour corrected specifically for my lab for the paper based photo prints. They are re-edited and adjusted separately for the professional external lab that I use to print canvases or extra large prints.
Because every lab produces different results clients may have disappointing results when reproduced on inferior paper or home printers. I have confirmed with several self-serve print kiosks that 2 levels of automated colour correction are applied to photos as they move through the system. This can destroy the intended colour and explains why less than ideal results occur. I understand though that clients would like their own copies of full resolution images which is why I am able to guarantee accurate colour and quality on all photo prints and canvases I produce for you.
Slight colour variations occur on digitally printed greeting cards and calendars compared to the same image when printed on professional photographic paper. This occurs because of the differing printers, paper stock, printing method, and features of the materials so it is out of Photobaby’s colour control.
My aim is to have your wonderful photos displayed in your home that you are proud of and are printed to the colour and quality they were intended. If you have any questions, please let me know.
